"Very good lives" - La traducción

Debido a los mensajes que hemos recibido por parte de algunos seguidores de "Lecturas a la inversa" sobre la dificultad de comprender las citas que destaqué en mi artículo "Very good lives" by J.K. Rowling, he decidido traducirlas con el único fin de facilitar la comprensión del texto. Aunque una de mis pasiones es la lengua inglesa, quiero recalcar que no me dedico profesionalmente a la traducción de textos por lo que las traducciones que aquí os presento deben entenderse como una humilde aportación de alguien totalmente lego en la materia.




"Climbing out of poverty by your own efforts, that is indeed something on which to pride yourself, but poverty itself is romanticised only by fools."

"Salir de la pobreza por tu propio esfuerzo es algo de lo que se puede estar orgulloso, pero la pobreza en sí misma sólo es idealizada por necios".
